Every second year, the Australian Great War Association takes part in the International Avalon Airshow. We spend three days reenacting every aspect of World War One, from life in the trenches to nurses at a casualty clearing station. Re-enactors from all over Australia travel to Avalon to join in the fun, with some coming as the enemy so that our battle reenactments are as authentic as possible.
